Are there any British women living in the Iskenderun/Adana area - my inlaws live in Iskenderun and we are thinking of moving back there so would love to communicate/meet up with some British women living in the same area if possible

Hey good luck with the move! We may be moving to Adana in next few months too! Have you sorted your visa? I don't have a clue how to go about it? Can either of you advise me?

Hello there,

I've just been coming in and out on a tourist visa, haven't bothered with Residency yet :lol:

I've read a few posts on the forum around applying for longer-term Visas - I'm the last person to get advice from, he he he :-)

Hi andy. Just seen your message. My husband is Turkish and from Adana. I have only been there once for a couple of weeks and that was four years ago. I have recently qualified as a TEFL teacher and was wondering what job opportunities there are for work in Adana and surrounding areas.

Hi

Just signed up to this forum as I was really pleased to see so many people talking about living in Adana! My Turkish husband and I are planning on moving to Adana later this year, and I must admit, my biggest fear was being the only English-speaker around

Everytime we visit, I always feel a little lost, even though we go every year, and my in-laws are great.... but now, just reading all the posts, and with them being so recent, I am really start to feel more relaxed about the move.

When we finally arrive, would love to meet fellow expats..... and hope to make some of my own friends......

Hi there I am in Iskenderun really looking for english speakers because i dont understand anythingm i dont even know how to say good morning.
