Hi,
We are planning to move to Istanbul next year after living in USA for 12 years. My son is born and grew up here in USA and went to school here. I'm looking for a school for him in Istanbul where he can continue to his education with English as the main language. He goes to an academically challenging school here and doing well. He can speak, read and write Turkish but I suspect he will be regarded as grade level by Turkish standards. I have the same concern for other subjects such as math because of the cirriculum difference of Turkey and US.
Can you recommend any schools for him where he can continue to have his education in English so that he wouldn't miss any years because of his level of Turkish and the cirriculum difference? We will apply to 5th grade next year, but middle school suggestions will help as well as primary school suggestions. Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,
the most reputable international schools are Istanbul International Community School and British International School, both teach in English, and both are very expensive. If that is not an obstacle, googling these two schools should take you further. Hope this helps,

Firstly i want to clarify you where you will go, mostly schools or DEP schools teach by their mother tongue language. Firstly you will learn their language as soon as possible.
