Hi, Maybe you don't know about International Women of Istanbul (IWI). It's open to any woman holding a foreign passport or any Turkish woman married to a foreigner. They're having their opening meeting on Sept. 17 at 10:30 at the Hilton near Taksim. You can join then if you want (bring your passport). They offer lots of different social activities and send out a magazine several times a year. You can check out their webpage if you like (www.iwi-tr.org). Good luck!

I am not looking for the British. Americans or Europreans - just for great people to socialize with. I have been in Istanbul for 3 months - live in Bebek - so if anyone likes this area and would like to chat and have a cup of coffee with me - please write an e-mail.
I'm a 25-year old engineer man and live in istanbul. I'm looking for some foreigners to improve my english skills while hanging out in free times. By this way, you can improve your Turkish as well, if you wish so. Moreover, I could help you discover Istanbul or we may have a chat over cup of coffee.
I am new to Istanbul and keen not to get stuck in a rut. Is anyone interested in meeting up over a coffee/beer or whatever takes your fancy? I thought it would be nice to get to know people as quickly as possible.
I am a mid-twenties English male. Likes music, foreign cinema, reading, art, football, cricket.....
If anyone is interested add me via MSN or find me on facebook.
I'm living in Istanbul for 2 weeks now and unfortunately doing nothing more than sitting just at home. I thought socializing with some expats in this city, would be good for me. I'm just 18 years old, Turkish but born and raised in the Netherlands. I live in Bahçelievler at the European side.
