hi there,
we live in Istanbul, although I love Turkey and this city, I feel uncomfortable because of the "space" for living, having a baby I do not see much places to go, like closed parks, bigger playgrounds, safe places,no places to sit safely around house etd.
How did you adjust to live here in Turkey? I am tired of following my babyboy infront of cars.

I suggest you move away from the central areas. The asian side is more family friendly, do you live there? or the more northerly areas of the European side are much nicer than the crowded, car ridden centre.

Hi, we had the same issue so we started a coffee shop/ cafe on the Asian side where we live. The cafe has an enclosed area for kids and is generally a family place.

Hanna where in istanbul do you live. If you live in the anatolian side there are lots of places suitable for kids there are cafes just for kids and lots of play grounds all safe. if you are in the european side I need to know where you are before making a suggestion

What about moving to some site ? We are living in on at Asian side, there are playgrounds, sport facilities, cafeteria, even a kindergarten etc inside of our site. No cars around and many families to socialice with.
