The cat is very cute and has a really nice, calm personality. She is between 6 and 8 months old, we,re not really sure. Please call 0539 269 8449 or email [email protected] if you or anyone you know is interested.

We also have two kittens for adoption in Istanbul - Kadikoy. Details as follows:

Rare Kitten!

Okay, maybe a kitten is not such a rare thing in Istanbul. But Melek (“Angel”) is quite unique. We found her in the streets in distress with a broken leg at age six weeks. We took her in and a vet set the broken bone, put on a splint, and gave her a parasite injection and calcium pills. We’ve kept her while she recuperates and love has bloomed. She took immediately to a litter box and loves to be petted or stroked. She reciprocates with gentle kisses and loves to be with humans.

We’d love to adopt her for good, but we alternate between Canada and Istanbul and can’t subject a cat to that lifestyle. If you have room in your heart and your home for this little bundle of joy, she’d love to interview you. Please get in touch with us at [email protected]

Not Sylvester, but Sylvie!

Her colour and markings are like those of the cartoon cat, Sylvester. But when we discovered that she was a female, we hastily shortened her name and now, when we call, she answers to Sylvie. She’s a 3-4 month old kitten who lives in our garden. As we’ve been feeding her since she was weaned and saw that she had all her shots, she’s quite socialized to humans that she trusts. That’s not to say she’ll tolerate crows, though. Fiercely independent, she’s been chasing crows from the garden for a month now. She’s a highly intelligent cat who would love to have a real home and family. If you can offer Sylvie a loving home, please contact me at [email protected] You’re welcome to come and visit, and, of course, there’s no obligation.
