2 year old needs some friends!

Hello, Merhaba
We are a couple with a two year old child who have recently moved to the Besiktas area of Istanbul from London. Dad is English, Mum is Turkish and Luka is a bit of both!
We are both Iyengar yoga teachers and run yoga holidays near Antalya on the Meditteranean coast.
We are especially looking for some friends for Luka - he is used to hanging out with kids his own age, but we don't yet want something as full-on, full time (or expensive) as nursery yet. We would love to find out about any playgroups or other informal activities for kids to do with their parents.

Yes we are still around - hoping to stay for a long time!
Maybe we could meet up sometime? What times of the day are you avaiable?
Any suggestions of a good place to meet (maybe a park?)

Hello Moms;
you can also check "morkelebekhouse" play school in Kadıköy in Asia side. They have very clean and joyfull environment. One of my friends doughter used to go there and they were very content of their playschool activity. They used to have native speaker English teacher last summer. You can have details if you take a look from website.
