i have loads of free time and i'd like to do smth good:))) i'd love to volunteer in dogs shelter or anywhere else....

so if someone knows smth pls let me know:))

I opened the same kind of topic for Ankara, but no one is volunteering i guess...

You can google 'hayvanları koruma derneği' and contact various organizations via that page. Also, do a search for 'Darülaceze', which is akin to Salvation Army and part of their site is in English. Giving help to the needy, etc. is deeply ingrained in the culture, but I have no idea how organized voluntarism works here, especially if you don't speak the language (not sure, whether you do or not). I'm trying to secure work here, then I'll be contacting those orgs, as well. If you need help contacting them, let me know. Good luck.
