However, while understanding and sharing your love for siamese cats, may I still suggest that you also take into consideration animal shelters? There are so many animals desperately needing a home, and there may even be siamese or other breeds among them occasionally.
Also, being familiar with Balinese cats (closely related to Siamese) and having taken a small Turkish street kitten into my home last winter, I can assure you that it is as capricious, talkative, strong-minded, intelligent and affectionate as any Siamese/Balinese.
