An eight week Creative Writing workshop (English language only) will begin 19 July. This workshop is designed for those at a beginner or intermediate level.
Class sizes are, maximum, eight people, allowing an intimate environment in which to discuss the students' work. Each student will be expected to provide intellegent feedback towards the work of his/her peers within the workshop environment. The instructor, an American writer and critic in residence in Istanbul, will also provide criticism and suggestions for improvement of the student's work. Classes will be held once weekly during the evening from 6pm to 9pm, in the Tunel area. The class will be a 1.5 hour lecture on craft and theory, followed by private meetings between the student and instructor to discuss the students work.
