Dost and D&R and a few other places in Kizilay do sell a good selection of new English books. Some of them are quite expensive but all the classics are about 9YTL which is quite good!

Hey everyone. I've just arrived in Ankara and I play flutes and a bit of piano and some other things. I was wondering if anyone had managed to learn any Turkish instruments since they've arrived? Some of them look pretty cool.

Yes, my degree is in Philosophy from Cambridge. So unfortunately it's not a language degree as such, though I have to use language a lot. I'm probably looking for a one-year contract.
