Some EU citizens such as France,Italy do insist that they entered Turkey just with ID cards.Is it possible?Does anyone know anything about this?As far as I know without passport it is impossible to enter Turkey.

if you dont exceed your visa status or legally given status than you dont need an ikamet.ikamet is for people who are staying in Turkey for a long time.

you dont need a lawyer.you need a proof of financial resources and a residence permit.thats all.police will ask you why do you want to stay in Turkey and do you have enough money to afford your life in Turkey.Turkish immigration process is not like Canada.

I think you can buy a car without tax and use it in Turkey with Misafir Plaka ( MA code plate ).I think its better if you visit taxfreecar dot net

what is the purpose of importing from Japan?it is still subject to Tax when you try to sell it in Turkish market.

Usually Turkish parents are nice against foreign brides or son in low's.I dont think being a US citizen will be a problem for parents.There are many examples of it.

Turkey is not an İslamic Republic.That kind of books will never be a problem.
