Hello everyone, I've been living in Turkey for the last 9 years, most of that time in Istanbul but moved down to Manavgat in 2008 - sick of Istanbul traffic. I live with my wife Elif in Bucak Seyhler on the Oymapınar road and teach English at the American Cultural Association in Manavgat. I was wondering if there are any expats out there interested in mountain biking and running and doing some training together. The tracks round where we live are great for mtbs. If you're interested let me know. Look forward to hearing from you, Paul
My name is Wim and I live in Colakli for 2 years now.
I am not a mountainbiker (yet but my cousin has an apartment in Side and is into mountainbiking. He was over in november last year and they did the world cup tour.
It would be nice if they got to know more tracks for the next time of maybe, you could ride together.
hi Wim, sounds good - I've got some turkish friends in Manavgat and we wanted to get a group of like minded cyclists together - just to get out into the woods/mountains and keep fit really. Would be pleased to cycle with you or your cousin. Let me know when. How did your cousin do in the world cup race? Paul
very relaxed - only really started this year - got a bike from Istanbul and do a bit of cycling and running - mostly along the trails around that world cup bike route. bring your bike over one day - as I said I live on the oymapınar road past manavgat waterfall and about 11kms out. lots of nature and chickens.

hi Ozkan sorry about the delay in replying - anytime you fancy cycling let me know - lots of trails near our house - I cycle with Muhammat - a friend who's got a bicycle shop in side - and now the summer's here a great time to get fit. take care, Paul
My partner and I live in Antayla. He would be interested in training. He just returned from four day mountain bike trip around Kemer and mountain areas.
