Would be interested to hear from anyone who has brought their UK car into Turkey, then converted the car onto blue plates for the duration of there stay while working.

I am thinking of going through this procedure I have residency and work permits.

The one area I would like to qualify,if I have to travel out of Turkey for a few weeks, the car must be left in the car park at my employers work premises and I need to carry a letter from my employer with myself when travelling to confirm this.

Has anyone experienced this procedure and had any issues or problems when trying to travel out of Turkey.

Also does the car really have to be left at the employers premises or is this a procedure which is stated but rarely carried out by the car owner.

Any input would be appreciated.
