Hi Guys,

My name is Sheril. I am an Indian planning to get married to a Turkish national. I am wondering if you can help me.

1.How long does it take to get a residence permit once you apply?
2.Is it possible to get a work permit without job offer?
3.Is it easy to find a job for me in the mechanical engineering sector?

I hope you can throw some light on these topics for me.

Thanks
Sheril

Hello Sheril,
Am also in your shoe. Am married to a Turks, getting resident permit is easy and within 1 week u can get that.meanwhile i renewed mine some weeks ago for 155tl 1yr. For work permit u might not get that until u get a job,And ur employer will be the one to apply for u . .Perhaps you want to work on your own u can get a individual working permit. Getting a job in Turkey as a foreigner is quite difficult except u are familiar will a lot of language like Russian ,French, English,Dutch land especially you have to know their language because as you know Turkish people hardly understand English.
