Can anyone recommend a good, cheap and honnest travel agency in Istanbul? I am looking for a ticket from Istanbul to Montreal. Also, what would be the cheapest airline for that destination. I know that from Montreal, KLM usually has the best prices, but from Turkey, it might be different.

I just checked on ebookers,com and air france seems to be cheapest at the moment.

Air france are doing it at around 770 USD and KLM is about 880 USD both round trip flights.

Thanks. Would ebookers be cheaper than local Istanbul agencies? Because a one-way from here is about $800 Canadian, which is more or less equivalent to $800 YTL. I thought the ticket might be cheaper from there.

Try Backpackers in Sultanahmet... They are pretty straightforward in their deals. Plus if you haggle, they bring down the price by a few ten dollars too..(though not always).

I have been using their services for the last 4 years... and am pretty satisfied with them.

There is a person called Nebahat (0212-6386343/44) and she speaks english as well...so she could help you easily.

Have you tried online? I just checked www,travelocity,com and a return from IST to Montreal this month (Nov.) is coming up at equivalent to US $595 return on KLM....

Had few nice deals with Barefoot Travel the other time. They are definetly honest guys, may find the contact info on their site: barefoot-travel dot com

I am not writing this for thread starter.he may not be here.But any how i love to contact with the travel company which is costly because cheap companies do cheap things.Whenever i had a chance to go on any kind of all inclusive holidays tour , i tried to contact the expensive company.
